Life: A Garden

Your life is like a garden that you continually nurture and care for. The different parts of your life are like the plants in your garden — each one unique and requiring its own attention. Some areas need a little less effort, while others might require more focus and care.

It’s all about where you choose to place your priorities. Maybe your emotional wellbeing needs more of your attention right now. Or perhaps your social connections are calling for more of your time. You might feel the need to keep your home organized, or maybe you’re currently dedicating more energy to your career.

Whatever it is, every aspect of your life needs nurturing, and that takes time and effort. Your time, energy, and focus are your most valuable resources, and how you choose to invest them will shape your life.

When you focus on something, it thrives. If you neglect it, it can start to fade. So, life is about making choices and knowing where to focus your attention, so you can nurture what matters most to you.

And I would appreciate it if you could spare some extra time to rate my poetic attempt to the same thought, which goes like this...

Your life is a garden, ever-changing, ever-growing,
A place where seeds of your dreams are sown.
Each part of you—your heart, your mind, your soul—
Is a unique blossom, with a different role.

Some flowers need sunlight, others need shade,
Some thrive with little; others must be lovingly made.
It’s about knowing what each needs to thrive,
And where your focus will truly come alive.

Perhaps your heart craves tender care,
While your friendships bloom with time to spare.
Maybe your home calls for warmth and order,
Or your work is your garden’s main border.

All areas of life need attention, it’s true,
But the key is balance, knowing what to do.
Your time, your energy, your love—
Are the water, the light, the wind from above.

So, choose your focus with wisdom and grace,
For what you nurture will grow in its place.
Tend to what matters, let the rest find its way,
And your garden will bloom in a beautiful display

I have earned my stipes and I am proud of it

This body created magic.

This body sustained life.

I carry the symbol of the process upon me so that I never forget how amazing I am.

She grew here.

With me.

We were one.

Now when she is away from me / my body; I can look down and smile. I will wear these signs as badge of honour and pride. A reminder that I am, as all women are, amazing.

Motherhood is not something to be forgotten or covered. I will not place my idea of beauty on an unmarked form. Instead i will see what is actually there.

I see the beauty, strength,, commitment, determination and love that each of these marks represents.

I look down to the marks and then look up to see her and find myself blessed and content in all respects. I have everything that I wanted and I have the best of that it in the whole wide world.

IVY RISHI (#IvyBaby) is the one around which my world moves now. These two words have the depth more than any ocean can ever have; at least for me.
IVY + RISHI = TANU’S EXISTENCE

Just another random mystery

If you’d ask me for one word about how Rishi and I felt with each other, for being together since so many years now, I would say “AZAAD”. We felt free with each other, without any boundations to entertain each other all the time.

He’d be sitting in one corner of the room while I would be in another, with NUSRAT filling the space between our comfortable silences, where I’d be packing my bags to leave again and he’d be sitting and browsing through YouTube or busy attending the limitless phone calls. In between we’d stare at each other, smiling and I’d melt. I’d lose all my concentration for few seconds, before regaining myself.

Rishi would stare outside the window, sometimes the mirror and most of the time his mobile phone that usually fills our surroundings there in Jammu. Whereas, I usually find myself sitting in our room, catching the birds flying back to their nests, orange sun settling behind the far looking hills, stray dogs settling themselves in the cozy corners of the streets and the decreasing number of vehicles on the busy road and sometimes catching hold of his face and holding his palms or hugging him tight in a comfy hug. We are use to spending our days with the routines in our respective places and evening like these when together.

Remembering a day when we saw that movie together. As he laid down next to me, staring at me and he said,
“If you ever write about me, think of me as a man who was free in his soul, who flew with wind, and yet longed for love. A love that could move the world. Write about me as LOVE.”

And then today, on the eve of his birthday, I sat down to write about this love that have filled my life with colours, care, charm, calmness and full of memories to hold on to. And the first thing that I could write was about love within me because of him.

That is the thing about us. Rishi and I are always destined to be together, and we knew it since day one, when he was sitting in the balcony of a calm place somewhere in Jammu and I were standing near the parking lot of the busy south Delhi market and messaging him, just after few days I have met him for the first time.

We knew that that our companionship won’t be easy like a cake walk and yet we went ahead with it. Loving each other in every moment, for we never knew which moment would have been our last. But we sailed through all the odds and as we were destined to be together, we are together, stronger than ever and to be with each other till our last breath on mother earth.

With each night I spend in Jammu, with him, feeling his physical presence, smelling his magical fragrance; the morning comes with a beautiful promise. As I watch the sun rising from behind those small looking hills and ironically the bigger looking trees and painting them golden with its rays, and I watch his angel looking face, deep in sleep and Thank the Almighty for every moment of magic that had and have the power to change my life forever.

I think these are the mornings I fall in love with him again and again for forever and ever again.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LOVE

From Woman to God: Through OSHO's Eyes

When you love a woman, what do you really love in her?

It will be different with different people and it will be different at different times. If love really grows, this is the way: FIRST you fall in love with the woman because her BODY is beautiful. That is the first available beauty – her face, her eyes, her proportion, her elegance, her dancing, pulsating energy. Her body is beautiful. That is the first approach. You fall in love.
THEN after a few days you start going deeper into the woman. You start loving her HEART. Now a far more beautiful revelation is coming to you. The body becomes secondary, the heart becomes primary. A new vision has arisen, a new peak.
If you go on loving the woman, sooner or later you will find there are peaks beyond peaks, depths beyond depths. THEN you start loving the SOUL of the woman. Then it is not only her heart – now that becomes secondary. Now it is the very person, the very presence, the very radiance, the aliveness, that unknown phenomenon of her being – that she is. The body is very far away, the heart has also gone away – now the being is.
And THEN one day this particular woman’s being becomes far away. Now you start loving the WOMANHOOD in her, the femininity, the feminineness, that receptivity. Now she is not a particular woman at all, she simply reflects womanhood, a particular form of womanhood. Now it is no longer individual, it is becoming more and more universal.
And ONE DAY that womanhood has also disappeared – you love the HUMANITY in her. Now she is not just a representative of woman, she is also representative of man as such.
The sky is becoming bigger and bigger. THEN one day it is not humanity but EXISTENCE. That she exists, that’s all that you want – that she exists. You are coming very close to God.

Then the LAST POINT COMES – all formulations and all forms disappear and THERE IS GOD. You have found God through your woman, through your man. EACH LOVE IS AN ECHO OF GOD’S LOVE.
